Screen Recorder
Record your screen or a tab — downloads as WebM video
Recording
Recording never leaves your device — pure browser capture.
Screen Recorder — Complete Guide & Instructions
MakeCard Screen Recorder captures your full screen, an application window, or a single browser tab — with an optional microphone track — straight from the browser. Press the big REC button, pick what to share in the system dialog, record for as long as you need, then preview and download the result as a WebM video. Because it uses the browser's built-in MediaRecorder, the video never leaves your device.
How to Use Screen Recorder
- 1 Tick or untick "Include microphone audio" before you start.
- 2 Press the large ● REC button — your browser asks which screen, window, or tab to share.
- 3 Record your session; the button shows the elapsed timer while capturing.
- 4 Press the button again (or stop sharing) to end the recording.
- 5 Preview the video in the Recording card and click "Download WebM" to save it.

- Keep recordings focused — long sessions produce large files.
Common Problems & Solutions
You dismissed the share picker or denied access — press REC again and select a screen, window, or tab to continue.
The microphone checkbox must be ticked before starting; also confirm the browser's mic permission is granted.
